We’ve had a tremendous year and look forward to enjoying the holidays with our families. We’ll be closed thru Jan. 1 and will look forward to serving your needs when we return to the shop on Jan. 2. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
It can be difficult to update your home when you’re a quadruple amputee, and when you’ve been severely wounded serving your nation, you shouldn’t have to. That’s the thinking behind the R.I.S.E. program, founded by actor Gary Sinise.
Photos from our project on behalf of Sgt. Frazier’s family in Chatham County are included in this Stone World article from November 28. The article also includes comments from our own Laura Grandlienard, chairwoman of the Natural Stone Institute’s R.I.S.E. board. Read the article here.
The International Surface Fabricators Association (ISFA) recently announced the 2018 ISFA Award winners at its annual conference. The Triangle’s only woman-owned stone fabrication and installation company, ROCKin’teriors was named ISFA “Fabricator of the Year.” The ISFA Awards are chosen by association members and given to those in the industry that stand out as the very best.
For the past few years, ROCKin’teriors has participated in the Gary Sinise Foundation’s R.I.S.E. program (Restoring Independence Supporting Empowerment) to help build specially adapted smart homes for America’s severely wounded veterans. We participate in cooperation with home builders, building industry materials providers, and other Natural Stone Institute (NSI) members.
Staff at ROCKin’teriors will be enjoying the blessings of Thanksgiving with family. Our workshop and studio will be closed Friday and reopen Monday morning, Nov. 26.
